We are seeking
short stories about pets.

Send your stories to us for the new book
PETS ACROSS CANADA.
Help support abandoned, abused, neglected and homeless
pets get the help and homes they deserve.

We are asking for funny, unusual, heart-warming tales and poems and pictures
about the animals that changed your life. The stories can be about cats, dogs,
turtles, fish, birds, hamsters, ferrets, horses and other animals that
brought joy, laughs, tears and lessons to your life.

Win a Pets Across Canada T-shirt or Ball Cap or Calendar, if your story is
published. Then as a published writer come to  a book signing and become an
animal advocate author. Release date scheduled for August 2009.

OUR MISSION:

We feel improved animal welfare is paramount and that the root cause of most
animal cruelty is resultant from indiscriminate, unethical breeding and
exploitation creating an over population of pets.

We advocate pet population control by lobbying and liaising with
regulatory bodies and kennel clubs to jointly and openly police and
effect control of breeding and ownership of pets on all levels.
